My name is Katie and I am a Cyber Scholar! I love majoring in computer science because it allows me to be both logical and creative. I am so thankful for my internship experiences at Google and Microsoft. These experiences have taught me so much about being a software engineer in the real world. I am passionate about machine learning, and I hope I can make a difference. I love being a Cyber Scholar because it has provided me with so much support and so many opportunities throughout my time here at UMBC! I recently got back from studying abroad and it was the most amazing experience of my life! I highly recommend studying in another country to experience how your major is studied in another culture.
