As a first-year CWIT Scholar, I am enjoying the opportunity to explore what UMBC has to offer with other members within the CWIT Living-Learning Community (LLC). I serve as the voice for the residents of our LLC as the freshmen representative of the CWIT Council. CWIT has enabled me to develop my professional networking skills, and has helped me find my place in a supportive but challenging community. In addition to CWIT, I am a member of the Cyber Defense Team, HackUMBC, CS Education Club, Code.Life, and First-Year Council. I love learning about anything related to computer science, and plan to discover my specialty through my involvement in CWIT and UMBC. With CWIT’s resources and my own enthusiasm, I am determined to attain a high standard of success in the information technology field.
