My name is Jackie Schultz and I am a Y6 Cyber Scholar. I am in my last semester at UMBC as an Information Systems major. CWIT has really helped me to explore this field and has provided countless opportunities to learn more, develop skills, and expand my knowledge. This program has also given me a great network of amazing friends that are just as passionate about the CWIT mission as I am. Outside of CWIT, I am the secretary for UMBC’s Cyber Defense Club, go to a TON of CTFs, and do research on detecting malicious web users. After graduation, I will be taking on a full-time job at Johns Hopkins University, Applied Physics Labratory.
