CWIT Scholar, C16
Major: Computer Science
Expected Graduation Year: 2021
My CWIT experience and UMBC experience are one in the same. Freshman year, I was elected President of the Chesapeake Hall Community Council and lived in the CWIT LLC (a great experience and made amazing friends). Sophomore year, I changed my major from Computer Engineering to Computer Science and became a Student Government Association (SGA) Senator. Currently, I am a Junior and this past summer I was a SAP Scholar in the Stanford SURF program and currently I am serving as the SGA President. I love Computer Science because I enjoy overcoming challenges whether it be a memory leak or finding ways to optimize my programs. CWIT has encouraged me to take advantage of my time at UMBC and I will continue to do that with my next two years.
