BLAST Off: Building Lasting Academic Success in Tech
The UMBC Center for Women in Technology (CWIT) is pleased to invite 9th and 10th grade high school students who are interested in computing and/or engineering to participate in this event. BLAST Off provides the opportunity to meet current college students in computing and engineering majors, learn about what kinds of classes students interested in these majors take, get a glimpse into what kinds of student organizations and activities are available, and participate in computing and/or engineering-related activities.
This event is typically held at UMBC in April or May.
The application is typically available in February or early March.
