In CWIT’s programs, students engage in professional development, networking, academic support, community development, peer mentoring, family dinners, faculty mentoring, retreats, and industry mentoring, educational outreach, and ally development. CWIT SCHOLARS PROGRAM
In-state Scholarship: Up to $15,000/Year
Out-of-State Scholarship: Up to $22,000/Year
Eligible incoming first-year students interested in computing and engineering majors can apply by January 15 to the CWIT Scholars Program.

CYBER SCHOLARS PROGRAM
Scholarship Amount: Up to $15,000/Year
Current UMBC students, first-year, and transfer students who have a passion for cybersecurity are eligible to apply to the Cyber Scholars Program.

T-SITE SCHOLARS PROGRAM
Scholarship Amount: Up to $8,000/Year
New transfer students entering UMBC from a Maryland community college interested in computing and engineering majors are eligible to apply by March 1 to the T -SITE Scholars Program. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
