Are you an incoming (perspective) or current student interested in joining the CWIT Community? There are many ways to join! In CWIT ’s programs students engage in professional development, networking, academic support, community development, peer mentoring, family dinners, faculty mentoring, retreats, and industry mentoring, educational outreach, and ally development. Each program has a unique application process and deadlines. CWIT SCHOLARS PROGRAM
In-state Scholarship: Up to $15,000/Year
Out-of-State Scholarship: Up to $22,000/Year
Eligible incoming first-year students interested in computing and engineering majors can apply by January 15 to the CWIT Scholars Program.
Deadline to apply: January 15th

Scholarship Amount: $0, Access to events, peer mentors, and networking opportunities for free
Current UMBC students, first-year and transfer students who have a passion for technology, computing, and engineering.
Deadline to sign-up: Rolling sign-ups throughout the year

CYBER SCHOLARS & ASSOCIATES PROGRAM
Scholarship Amount: Up to $15,000/Year
Current UMBC students, first-year and transfer students who have a passion for cyber security are eligible to apply by January 15 and March 15 to the Cyber Scholars Program. Sponsored by Northrop Grumman Corporation.
Deadline to apply: January 15th (freshmen) and March 1st (transfer and current UMBC students)

Current UMBC students, first-year and transfer students who have a passion for cyber security.

T-SITE SCHOLARS PROGRAM
Scholarship Amount: Up to $7,000/Year
New transfer students entering UMBC from a Maryland community college interested in computing majors are eligible to apply by March 15 to the T -SITE Scholars Program. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
Deadline to apply: March 1st
