CWIT Scholar, C14
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Expected Graduation: 2019
The highlight of my college career has always been being a part of the CWIT community. Being surrounded by women and allies to help promote better diversity in STEM fields has been crucial to my success in college. Without my support system, I would not have stuck with my extremely challenging major, nor managed to secure a full-time job offer before my senior year even began. Along with being in CWIT, I am also the Co-Captain of UMBC’s Equestrian Team and have gained invaluable skills in being a leader and what it means to truly be a mentor to those younger than myself. When I am not on campus, I can be found at the barn with my horse, or in Erickson Field with my service dog doing training and de-stressing with him.
