The CWIT community has been an essential part of my college experience. When I graduated high school, I was very reserved with myself but entering college as a CWIT scholar provided me with a baseline of connections. These connections provided me with tremendous support from fellow scholars/affiliates, mentors, and staff. I would not be where I am today without them. To contribute to the CWIT community, I have been one of the co-leads for our K-12 initiative from Fall 2020-Spring 2022. As an alumna, I would love to give back to this community, and I plan to be involved with CWIT in any way I can.
