I chose to study Computer Science as a by product of troubleshooting electronics for my family growing up. I watched the dramatic expansion of technology in our lives which gravitated me to be apart of the movement. I have a growing interest in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. My academic journey has exceeded my expectations. This is due to UMBC’s excellent facility and joining CWIT as a T-SITE scholar. The program equipped me with resources, knowledge, and a community to prepare me to navigate the world. The staff pushed my professional career by leading me to secure an internship, become a leader, and challenging my limits. I am passionate about CWIT’s mission and will utilize my knowledge to ensure diversity and inclusion in future workplaces.
