T-SITE Scholar, T6
Major: Computer Engineering
Graduation Year: 2020

This is my first semester here at UMBC after transferring from CCBC, and CWIT has definitely impacted my experience. Even before the semester started, I found a community of friends and a strong support system. During my interview, I remember feeling assured that CWIT would help me achieve my goals. I’m proud to be a T-SITE Scholar and an advocate for CWIT. Because of CWIT, I have built relationships with other students and faculty and found study buddies and mentors. I’m looking forward to becoming more involved in CWIT and in student organizations and clubs. I also hope to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration and engage in other exciting events through CWIT. I loved the CWIT Retreat, because it was super fun and helped me understand what CWIT actually is. I feel honored to be a part of such a great community of scholars, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
