High School Students

CWIT offers a variety of fun and informative programs for high school students interested in pursuing a career in information technology or engineering and learning more about what UMBC has to offer.

 

  • Before January 15th of their senior year, high school students may apply for the CWIT Scholars Program, which is a 4-year merit scholarship program offered at UMBC.
  • High school juniors that are interested in learning more about IT and engineering fields may apply to participate in CWIT’s annual Bits & Bytes Program, offered over President’s Day weekend in the Spring.
  • High school students interested in visiting UMBC to learn more about the CWIT and Cyber Scholars Programs can register for the the BEST of CWIT program.
