The most beautiful thing that I have been loving at UMBC is its beauty of diversity. Because of a diverse and inclusive environment, no one feels left out at UMBC. Transitioning from a small two years community college and adapting to a massive university wasn’t easy for me. I feel so lucky to be a part of the CWIT community that has become my support system in mitigating those challenges. As I have a keen interest in having problem-solving skills and design solutions efficiently and effectively in a computer-related field, my goal is to become a Computer System Analyst as a career goal. As a hobby, I also love to write poetry and travel to explore the world. As a minority, I also believe that the talent and innovative ideas of unrepresented and marginalized people can be represented through diverse computing and IT workforce. In the future, I want to play a crucial role to form a diverse workforce to include more voices to shape the direction and velocity of innovation with the help of the CWIT community.
