I have no idea where I would be in UMBC without the CWIT community and to be honest, I think I would inevitably find them and fall in love with the massive amount of opportunities I’ve been given just for getting involved all over again. My experience in CWIT has given me the opportunity to gain several internships at Northrop Grumman and Cisco Systems, personal advising when I needed help deciding my future career, and a very large support group that I know I can rely on in a pinch. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be the Resident Assistant (RA) of the CWIT Living Learning Community (LLC) and it has been one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had at UMBC. Having a happy and helpful set of residents you can call family right outside your room can bring anyone motivation and happiness to succeed in their college career, and I am thankful that I can say I’ve had that experience.”
